Junior iOS Software Developer
Location: Delray Beach, Florida



As a software developer, you will be responsible for a broad range of software development activities to expand our cutting-edge iOS software application:

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Extending and maintaining the MobiWork iOS native application using Objective-C, SQLite, Swift, XML and HTTP/HTTPS
  • Crafting quality, well-tested code using rigorous continuous delivery methodologies, including automated functional and non-functional testing
  • Focus on usability and consistency (easy to learn and to use)

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate has the following skills and qualifications:


  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Team player
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-directed
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 1+ year of experience in iOS application programming
  • 1+ year of experience in software development
  • 1+ year of experience in user interface programming
  • 1+ years of experience using REST based services
  • 1+ years of experience using XML and/or JSON
  • 2+ years of experience using SQLite

Work Experience

Associated work experience in the following areas is an added plus:


  • Experience with test automation is a big plus
  • Experience with unit testing framework is a big plus
  • Experience with cloud-based REST based APIs is a big plus
  • Experience with CRM, ERP and accounting packages integration is a big plus
  • Experience with Jenkins or Hudson is a plus
  • Experience with Ant or Maven is a plus
  • Knowledge or experience with Objective C
  • Knowledge or experience with Android
  • Knowledge or experience in OCR development and tools
  • Knowledge or experience in Biometrics technologies
  • Knowledge or experience in Voice Recognition technologies
